§ Manage the implementation of new and expansion
site for GSM/3G/TETRA/LTE and new implementation for BSC/ for
GSM.
§ Implement new and handle expansion of RNC for
UMTS (3G).
§ Regularly coordinate with Building services,
A.C & D.C Power, Transmission, Maintenance and various other sections.
§ Prepare Phase, Monthly & Weekly
implementation plan for new and expansion site in coordination with R.F.
Planning, O & M, Transmission, Power & civil section.
§ Interact regularly with vendor for indoor
building solution.
§ Responsible for managing the assignments of the
project staff and forecast the material requirement for New/Exp.
site.
§ Configuration diagram for new/exp. Site and
prepare MIS reports.
§ Maintain the records of site and equipment
allocation.
§ Handle the Installation, Testing, Commissioning
& Integration of MOTOROLA BTS (Macro & Micro), BSC & PCU for
GSM network in Northern Emirates.
§ Administer Installation, Testing, Commissioning
& Integration of UMTS (HUAWEI), Equipments, Node-B (BTS3812E, BTS3900,
BTS3900L, DBS3900, BTS3900C), & RNC, and TETRA (Public Mobile Radio),
Equipments.
§ Administer Installation, Test, Commission &
Integrate site, Antenna & Feeder Checking for GSM, UMTS, TETRA &
LTE Sites.
§ Take up the Site Survey for GSM, UMTS, TETRA
& LTE sites, Reconfigure & Expansion of GSM, UMTS, TETRA, LTE
Sites.
§ Inventory of GSM, UMTS, TETRA & LTE
Equipments, Supplied by Vendors.
§ Participate in the Preparation of acceptance
test papers for GSM, UMTS, and TETRA & LTE sites.
· Operation and Trouble-shooting of RBS, NodeB and
its concerned auxiliary units Hardware and software maintenance of BSS
elements.
·
Recommend timely actions & solutions of
nodes as part of Surveillance Team, and
revert with suitable solutions to technical support team, as per Service
Level
Agreements.
·
Modification & maintenance of Network
Elements & BTS cell parameters
· Configuration Management on Solaris by Citrix
tool and by CNA & CHA Application software. This includes new site
integration, DT Preparation for network Optimization, H/W Expansion (900
and 1800 both), Software updates, Radio Environment parameter modification
etc. in order to achieve high quality and secure a good overall performance

Migration Of BSC from one MSC to Other MSC node
cluster
· Migration of BTS from one BSC to other BSC
· Co-ordination with Planning person, Drive test
person, O&M person, project person
· Configuration of HW expansion of BSC and RBS.
· RBS software upgrades.

BSC-CP & AP software update and Upgrade for
different release.
· GB-Link Activity and TRAPool Configuration,
Configuration of New BSC includes DT Preparation for Configuration of new
BSC.
· RBLT (Abis-Link) connectivity, LAPD, MTP,
BSSAP, ISUP, TCAP, MAP, INAP, SCCP, Testing & Maintenance. Having
knowledge of HSUPA,HSDPA,RRC,RLC Protocols
· Good knowledge of AXE Hardware, BSC CP, BSC AP
like APG40,APG43, RNC 3810,3820

Node B Integration and Migration Of Node B.

Good troubleshooting skills for AXE Hardware

ensuring proper backup of each network elements decided by Maxis Team.

Call testing, GPRS testing and resolve GPRS
related issues and key player in analyzing & configuration changes of
EDGE & GPRS services.

Generations of fault related alarm information,
reports then analyze and take necessary action.

Support to Field Engineers to resolve issues,
which arise during integration phase of the network.

Fault Diagnostics, escalation & follow up
from BSS, NSS, RF planning and transmission to resolve faults in network.

Maintenance and Creation of new BTS, DUAL BAND
BTS using Netact tool,
also work on TNMS Tool for
traffic defining.
